How Obsessed Are You About Hollywood Stars?
Are you one of those gossip queens? You know the ones I’m referring to. They stand in the supermarkets, reading “Globe” or “The Enquirer.” They always want to get the latest and greatest up-to-date dirt on hollywood stars. What is the deal with this routine anyway? No offense, but if you don’t know them, how does it concern you in any way. It’s far past time that you get a life, folks. You need to move beyond the drama of the hollywood stars, and start doing your own thing. If not, you may end up in a mental institution, alone, and reading “US” magazine. Now that doesn’t sound too pretty if you ask me.
What is it with hollywood stars? I mean, why does the general public become so fascinated with them? Sure, I like a good film as much as the next person, but who some actor is dating doesn’t concern me. I say this for one plain and simple reason. i don’t know them! Now, if you are actually hanging out with Tom Cruise on Friday nights or going to church with Angelina Jolie on Sundays, then I could see why you have such a great interest in their lifestyles. However, the people who read all the garbage on the hollywood stars, don’t know them at all. Chances are they’ve never even seen them in person or shook their hand. I laugh at my teenage daughter because she is so into teen hollywood stars. She is always reading some cheesy magazine that shows which pop singer was tanning on what beach, and which actor likes to eat chocolate. I like to reiterate to her that this is a sheer waste of her valuable time. As opposed to reading up on the hollywood stars gossip, she could actually be out doing something fun. Hey, there’s an idea.
Before you snag that latest issue of “People” magazine or some other celebrity gossip source, I want you to think very carefully how it’s going to benefit you. Do those lame articles about hollywood stars really entertain you or are you just obsessed with their personal lives? No offense, but if you are hung-up on everything someone else is doing in their life, someone you don’t even know for that matter, then you really should re-evaluate your current situation. There is clearly something missing. Maybe it’s time to go out and start living.
